Application & Advantages of Backhoe Dredger in Projects

The backhoe dredger can directly excavate hard soil, clay, siltstone, completely weathered rock, strongly weathered rock, moderately weathered rock and other hard formations.

It enables non-blasting direct excavation with high performance and high productivity.

For formations too hard to excavate directly, our equipment can be fitted with high-frequency breakers and underwater hydraulic breakers, allowing non-blasting construction on underwater reefs.

Formations with unconfined compressive strength (UCS) below 30 MPa: direct excavation

Formations below 90 MPa: excavation assisted by high-frequency breaker

Formations above 90 MPa: excavation assisted by hydraulic breaker

The vessel is positioned using Steel Pipe piles, resulting in minimal impact on navigation.
