Capital and maintenance dredging of navigation channels, fairways and harbour basins
Reclamation works (land reclamation, beach nourishment, port land formation)
Dredging and disposal of sediment in waterways, estuaries and coastal areas
Dredging for port construction, terminal expansion and water area regulation
Coastal protection, silt removal and underwater foundation preparation
Long-distance offshore discharge and pipeline discharge works
Sea state: Normally up to Sea State 3–4 (wave height ≤ 1.5–2.0 m)
Wind scale: Generally within Beaufort 6
Water depth: From shallow water (about 4–6 m) up to the maximum dredging depth of the vessel
Tidal range: Adaptable to medium and large tidal areas
Operating environment: Coastal waters, estuaries, bays, semi‑open sea areas
Soft soil: Silt, clay, muddy sand
Loose to medium dense sand: Fine sand, medium sand, coarse sand
Silty sand, sandy silt and mixed cohesive‑noncohesive soils
Loose gravelly soils (without large boulders)
Soft to medium stiff cohesive soils
