A: The China Classification Society (CCS) and ZC,( China Ship Inspection Bureau) have different natures.

ZC was a national ship safety supervision agency, whereas CCS is a non-governmental classification society.

· Currently, the functions of the former Ship Inspection Bureau (ZC) have been transferred to the Maritime Safety Administration of the People's Republic of China.
